20 days for baby leaf, 45 for full grown heads. This early maturing Japanese mustard, also known as Kyona Mizuna originated in the Kyoto area and was a type commonly grown in this region. This strain was selected from this type and is considered a Kyoto or Kyona type. It has long slender stems and dark green, serrated leaves. Both cold and heat tolerant and slow to bolt, it is a vigorous green that branches prolifically. A peppery mustard green that is beloved in Japan and commonly found in gourmet salad mix. The frilly, lace-like foliage packs loads of flavor, and is excellent added to salads, soups and stir fry. A reliable variety for the farmer or gardener. It can be sowed densely (1 inch apart) and harvested many times for baby greens (25 days) or thinned to 4-6 inches apart and allowed to mature to full size (about 36 inches mature height).   Brassica rapa Annual Good for Part-Shade Perfect for small space and indoor gardens Seed packet contains a minimum of 200 seeds
