Serial CAN-BUS Module
MCP2551 and MCP2515 Serial CAN-BUS Module enable your Arduino and other MCU to communicate to CAN-BUS to hack your vehicle. CAN-BUS is a common industrial bus because of its long travel distance, medium communication speed, and high reliability. This Serial CAN-BUS module is based on MCP2551 and MCP2515, which provides a speed of up to 1Mb/s. It also has a terminal block so you can connect to your vehicle’s OBD-II port with two wires. Highlighted Features There's Grove connect as well as Grove cable included in the kit, which allows connecting the module to your Arduino easily We also recommend the OBD-11 CAN-BUS Development kit which consists of the Serial CAN Bus module as well as the OBD-II connector As the module uses serial communication, the frequency of receiving data can't be too fast, you can receive a frame every millisecond under 115200 baud rate Easy-to-use Arduino library Specifications Cart to CAN-BUS communication Support AT command Up to 115200 UART baud rate (default 9600) Up to 1Mb/s CAN-BUS baud rate TX and RX led indicator 4pin Grove connector to plug and play 3.3V working voltage 4 pin 2.0mm Grove Connector 3.5mm terminal to connect to CAN-Bus (CAN_H & CAN_L) 120Ω resistor, default connected, if you don't need you cut this pad with a box cutter Dimensions 20mm x40mm x10mm 4 Pin Grove cable included with a small screwdriver Hardware Overview Figure 1: 4 pin 2.0mm Grove Connector Power and status led indicator Send and Recv led indicator 3.5mm terminal to connect to CAN-Bus (CAN_H & CAN_L) 120Ω resistor, default connected, if you don't need you cut this pad with a box cutter.
