This tropical plant features an impressive rosette of broad, upright leaves that can reach heights of up to 3 feet. The foliage is made up of deep undertones of black over green naturally layered over each other creating a beautiful contrast with it's frosted banding. This chantinii is often used in landscapes through out South Florida, it can gradually climatized into full sun locations, however shaded areas do best. Also it attaches well and looks its best mounted on decorative wood or in trees. As with most bromeliads minimal watering is required, with a focus on keeping the central cup of the rosette filled with non-chlorinated water. Providing moderate humidity and mainta
