This variety is: HOLLYHILL BLACK BEAUTY.Hollyhill Black Beauty is a tough color to photograph and describe: it's a dark, burgundy-ish. though somehow slightly neon purple. This bloom absolutely glows when contrasting with any other neon colored dahlia. Hollyhill Black Beauty is a strong, productive bloomer with long stems that fit well in vases. The flowers themselves are between 4-5 inches in diameter. This variety makes great cut flowers for arrangements. The plant is reaches about 4-4.5 feet in height in my garden.
