This variety is: RYAN C. MIX One of the first dahlia "varieties" I ever grew, these tubers were gifted to me by a friend. I am suspicious that this is not just one variety, but a mix of purple varieties. I am maintaining the name "Ryan C." for the sake of tradition, but am calling it a "mix" :D.The blooms range from purple with a few white stripes and speckles, to the complete opposite. I've picked some completely purple flowers, but never a completely white one. They're all so different!All of these dahlias grow to be quite tall (around 5 feet or taller). For that reason, I love incorporating it into my ornamental flower beds as a bold, purple statement. It's stems are long and sturdy, and the blooms are medium-large, making for an amazing cut flower variety. On average, they are about 5-7 inches in diameter, some larger, some smaller.
