The actually anatomy of bamboo is structured for a flute, because it’s already hollow with internal nodes (walls) on the inside. Evergreen Instruments uses a thicker walled bamboo to ensure strength and create a fuller tone. Bamboo has mid and high-mid tones that give a piercing sound while maintaining its tone quality.  This flute is a Native American style Flute (NA Flute).
