Capçanes is a small village nestled in the hills southwest of Barcelona, where indigenous Spanish varietals have been cultivated for centuries. Protected by the Llaberia mountain range, this is where a few local families founded the cooperative Celler de Capçanes in 1933, and since then the winery has been producing an impressive range of wines with a focus on local varietals. This 100% Grenache Blanc is bursting with aromas of freshly cut herbs, citrus blossom, and tropical fruit. On the palate we get notes of juicy pear, yellow apple, and a hint of mango with a plush mouthfeel and long, round finish.
