Chateau Amour Médoc Cru Bourgeois 2015 (Bordeaux, France)

Château Amour is located in the Médoc AOC of Bordeaux, where influences from both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde estuary provide an ideal microclimate for the cultivation of Bordeaux’s famed varietals. Family owned and operated with a focus on sustainable viticulture, the estate only produces two wines.  This lightly oaked blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot is elegant yet approachable, with rich notes of ripe red and dark fruit balanced by firm tannins that provide excellent structure. Give this bottle about 30 minutes to an hour of air to open up.
