Chateau Tertre De Courban Bordeaux Blanc 2023 (Bordeaux, France)

Château Tertre de Courban is the younger sibling of owner and grower Christophe Pinard’s first winery, Château La Galante. Originally from a family of Cognac winegrowers, Christophe ventured out on his own, purchasing his first 30 acres of vineyards in Bordeaux in 1991. As hands-on as a winemaker can get, he built everything on his estate himself, and this care and dedication extends itself to his vines as well. This blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Muscadelle is refreshing and bright, with both good acidity and good weight on the palate. We get notes of citrus, green apple, and gooseberry and a pleasant minerality on the finish.
