Jérémie Huchet 'Chapeau Melon' Blanc Vin de France 2023 (Loire Valley, France)

Jérémie Huchet took over his family’s estate in 2001, and since then has dedicated his time and energy into converting to fully organic viticulture. While deeply respecting the ancient winemaking traditions of the Muscadet region, Huchet is also making fresh, easy drinking wines that are meant to be enjoyed in the moment. The Chapeau Melon Blanc is a blend of Melon de Bourgogne and Sauvignon Blanc (which is why you won’t see Muscadet on the label). We get all of the lovely salinity and minerality you’d expect from Melon de Bourgogne with a lively pop of Sauvignon Blanc’s citrusy and exotic fruit notes and punchy acidity.  Food Ideas: Citrusy scallop crudo, triple cream brie with crusty bread, fried tofu coconut curry, poutine, salmon with a lemon & tahini sauce ABV: 12%
