Piattelli Vineyards Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 (Cafayate Valley, Argentina)

The Piattelli estate is located in the Uco Valley, one of Argentina’s most well known and highly esteemed wine regions famous for fresh, fruity, full bodied red wines, and their Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a prime example of this style! Blend with very small amounts of Merlot and Malbec, this red wine is bold and luxurious, with loads of dark fruit like currant, blackberry, and dark cherry accompanied by some notes black pepper and earthy coffee bean. The strong tannins are balanced out by a surprisingly prominent punch of acidity, making this a very approachable, fuller bodied red that’s incredibly food friendly.
