Pierre-Marie Chermette is a small (14 hectares) estate with a focus on the Gamay grape. They practice organic and sustainable farming; use minimal manipulation and sulfites...basically, they allow the terroir and grapes to express themselves. This rose is not just a pretty face. We get strawberries and rhubarb with a nice creamy texture, good acid and an intoxication briny note that lingers on the finish.
