Prendo Pinot Grigio Vigneti Delle Dolomiti 2023 (Alto Adige, Italy)
The Alpine wine region of Alto Adige sits at the northern end of Italy and shares a border with Austria, where both Italian and German influences have fused to create a fascinating and entirely unique regional culture. The Wilhelm Walch winery is a perfect example of this fusion, and for five generations they have been producing elegant, fresh wines with a distinctive Alpine character. We get notes of bright citrus and green apple on the nose and the palate, followed by a crisp, refreshing acidity and a lean minerality. A light and refined wine, this white is incredibly food friendly but also makes a perfect aperitif. Food Ideas: Spaghetti carbonara, pad thai, crab cakes, ginger & scallion steamed fish, white pizza with garlic and basil Alcohol: 12.5%
