Venta la Vega 'Adaras Lluvia' White Blend 2024 (Almansa, Spain)

Venta la Vega is an organic winery located 850 meters above sea level in the mountainous region of Almansa, a subregion of Castilla-La Mancha. Winemaker José Ángel Martinez, also of Evínate wines, is deeply committed to protecting local varietals, so all of his bottles are unique and very fun. The ‘Lluvia’ is a blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Verdejo. We get notes of tropical fruit and subtle white stone fruit that are met with a lovely minerality and just a hint of salinity on the finish. Clean and bright with a pleasant weight and a long, lingering finish.
