The Voštinić family has been exclusively cultivating Škrlet vines amongst  the rolling hills of Moslavina since 1936, when great-grandfather Klasnić planted the first vines, some of which still grow today and are some the oldest in the world.  An obscure grape indigenous to Croatia that nearly went extinct, Škrlet (shkir-let) is a unique and playful varietal that makes equally fun wines! Aromas of herbs and tropical fruit meet a palate of under-ripe peach, lemon flesh, and crisp apple. Vivacious and refreshing, this is certainly a wine to try on its own, but feel free to get creative with the food pairings- it goes with everything!  Food Ideas: Pan-fried Sole fillets with green beans & shallot-y rice, Korean fried chicken, spicy tuna rolls, goat cheese stuffed mini peppers, mustardy pork & apples ABV: 12%
