The factory L5P intercooler pipes are a measly 2.5in diameter that chokes the engine, while tight bends and a resonator on the hot side create even more restriction.The Mishimoto intercooler pipes are 3in in diameter throughout with smooth transitions to significantly increase airflow, resulting in more power potential. Our hot-side pipe also eliminates the stock resonator for maximum flow. Combined, the Mishimoto intercooler pipes are up to 55-percent less restrictive than stock.Both the hot-side and cold-side utilize a two-piece design for ease of install. To connect the pipes to our Duramax, this kit also includes our silicone boots with DuraCoreâ„¢ technology.
