Chai

Quite simply we set out to create a chai blend that we would actually drink. One that is made up of high quality organic herbs, spices, roots and tea which wasn't leaves swept up off some factory floor. There are no compromises here. If you look at other folks tea component of their chai blends you'll see beat up shards, fannings, cut grade rubbish. We went ahead and did something all those companies would scoff at. We take a lovely semi-wild ecologically cultivated whole leaf red tea and smash it to bits so the particle size is similar to the other ingredients. The blend consists of red teas, ginger, cassia cinnamon, ceylon cinnamon, licorice root, clove, cardamom, orange peel, black peppercorn, and nutmeg.  The blend brews up bright and clear, with nicely balanced heat and lovely herbaceous undertones. It makes a wonderful concentrate and is also great on it's own.
