Past Present Future
This is the Holiday puerh cake we sent out to our tea friends in the winter of 2020. It's a blend composed entirely of old tree material from several regions. The material is made up of older more mature leaves which lack some of the top note complexity of young spring buds. But what they lack in flashy fragrance they well make up for in energy, especially considering the cake would be at least 4 times the price if it were made up of that first flush. Now if you’re keen at $25 per 250g that’s cheapest "greenish" tea here and so you could put it on your menu and offer it as an alternative to green tea. Notes A grounding and reenergizing tea. We usually reach for this on an afternoon where we're feeling sluggish and need a push in the right direction.
