Blue Note, 2002 Norah Jones' 2002 debut on Blue Note announced the arrival of a major talent. As well as sensitive originals by Jones and bassist Lee Alexander, the album contains some well-chosen cover versions: Hank Williams' "Cold, Cold Heart", and Hoagy Carmichael's ‚"The Nearness Of You" are both given the magic touch.
