It coordinates system-level logic—charge/discharge limits (CCL/DCL), contactor control, fault handling, and telemetry—while Remote (REM) controllers provide localized cell supervision at distributed packs. This architecture shortens HV cable runs, improves packaging, and enables isolation between segments.
