Border Leicester wool/mohair blend roving - natural medium gray

The base of this fiber is Border Leicester wool and mohair both grown here in Oregon. The mohair was added as a more natural, local and sustainable replacement for the nylon you find in most sock yarns. 80/20 blend.  Could be spun into a great sock yarn or if spun at a heavier weight with less twist can be worn next to skin for those that aren't too sensitive. This makes a nice sturdy yarn with a small hallow and lovely shine. 4 oz roving. Natural medium gray Border Leicester grown in Kimberly, OR. Mohair grown in Carlton, OR.
