PRINEVILLE Yarn Sock Kits - Heavy Fingering Weight

I put these kits together for anyone wanting a basic sock kit of our Prineville yarn. The base of this yarn is Border Leicester wool and mohair. The mohair was added as a more natural, local and sustainable replacement for the nylon you find in most sock yarns. 80/20 blend. Border Leicester is a durable wool with a longer staple length which allows for more twist and less pilling with wear. All fibers for this yarn were grown, milled and dyed in Oregon. Each kit contains one 400 yard skein of the Main Color "Just a Touch" which is a natural white with heathered gray throughout plus one 100 yard skein of the Contrast Color of your choice. I mill this yarn here on sight in small batches and often I also dye in small batches. If you do not see the colors you want in stock or would like to mix and match colors (i.e. the main color to be dyed) please feel free to email and I will do my best to accommodate whenever I can.
