The Paul

The Paul is more than just a really cool knife, with really cool scales, and a really cool sheath.  The Paul is a memorial to one of my best friends who drowned while kayaking in Mendenhall lake, here in Juneau Alaska.  Each knife is hand made by Lance of Ironwood Outfitters. The handles are made with denim micarta from actual faded Rogue Territory denim that Paul had worn daily.  When Paul's mom gave me his extensive faded RGT denim collection, I knew I needed to do something special with them. I sent the denim off to micarta master, Ann at Laid Up Composites to work her magic.  Lance and I carefully designed the perfect little EDC knife that had that rugged outdoor look to it.  Paul was not only a denim head but a avid outdoor enthusiast who was always on the lookout for the next big adventure. Once the knives were finished they were sent to me to design a sheath that would complete the denim theme of the knife.   Paul will dearly be missed but his legacy will be carried on,  and now
