Stay Gold Tee (The Outsiders + Robert Frost)
This tee was inspired by our latest reading of S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders and our love of Robert Frost. If you've never heard of either one, you still might have heard the iconic line, "Stay gold, Ponyboy." Well, here's the original poem, for your enjoyment: "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost Nature’s first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf’s a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay. Isn't it marvelous? We think so, too. This unisex tee in oxblood black features the closing lines of Robert Frost's poem, which entered the public domain in 2019. • 100% combed and ring-spun cotton (Heather colors contain polyester) • Fabric weight: 4.2 oz (142 g/m2) • Pre-shrunk fabric • Side-seamed construction • Shoulder-to-shoulder taping Please note: All apparel and tote bags are custom made to order.
