In fact, in some of them Gary Heidnik looks downright normal. Reader, he really really wasn't. And I'm not saying books with this sort of breathless "marketing" are responsible for true-crime's historically trashy reputation, but... The paperback is a bit dowdy — edgewear, page toning, a dog-eared page — but will get the job done for the price.
