McCall’s November 1973 Memories of John F. Kennedy

Memories of JFK “by his widow, his children and his only surviving brother,” 10 years after the assassination. Other genre content includes a story on “Legal abortion,” and the usual terrifying vintage recipes and feminine-hygiene advertising that made a generation verrrry reluctant to begin menstruating. A fair bit of wear and damage to this mag, as shown — nicks to the covers, creasing, a split to the top of the spine, and some page toning; as well, the magazine has an old-book smell from storage at a previous stop. Still, a solid pick-up for crafting or JFK case completists, either/both.
