Introduced by Eric Ambler. "Retold by" Winston Graham, Ludovic Kennedy, Emlyn Williams, and others; the cases include Neill Cream, the Wembley bank job, and Dr. Crippen.  A doorstoppish hardcover whose jacket is in quite rough shape (happy to add a wrap, just leave me a note at checkout). Boards aren't too rubbed, though the front cover's a bit warped. Pages clean and snug inside. A good budget pick-up for the guest room or the back of the toilet. (...Well, let's be real, right? This is where this kind of thing gets read.)
