Baby's Tears-Aquatic Plant
Baby Tears is a relatively easy to grow, medium light stem plant. If left untrimmed, Baby Tears can grow up to a foot tall. For low, bushy growth, this plant will need to be trimmed often. Its delicate, small, round leaves will add texture to any aquarium and and contrast nicely against larger-leafed plants. Baby Tears makes a great foreground to midground plant due to its smaller size. Scientific Name: Micranthemum Umbrosum Native To: North America Skill Level: Medium Placement: Foreground to Midground Co2 Requirement: none Preferred Fertilizer: Liquid To plant Baby Tears, group several stems together and plant as a bunch. Repeat and space bunches out so that the stems can get plenty of light. We find it does best this way. It is common for new plants to get unrooted during the initial planting, but once established, it is an easy grower. ***Being a natural product, sizes can vary from what is shown.***
