We're back in the USA for some equestrian chaos in Steel Ball Run. Based around a cross-country, 50 million dollar horse race, some of the key plot points include a conspiracy by the president to reassemble the pieces of Jesus' corpse, pregnancy via decapitated head, and wheelchair-bound characters gaining the ability to walk. This arc is a lot of fun, and surprisingly much more coherent than some of the others. We leaned on the idea of the horse race for this candle. and key notes include the classic Kentucky Derby cocktail, the mint julep.
