'Golden' Chard

Beta vulgaris Origin: Washington State Improvement status: Cultivar Seeds per packet: ~50 Germination tested 11/2023: 70% Life cycle: Biennial From Wild Garden Seeds in Oregon who say this about it: "A nice heirloom strain from Abundant Life Seed Foundation. Emerald green baby leaves with yellow stems are especially mild and sweet cut salad. Stem color intensifies with age." Nate loves to make a tuna-chard salad, with or without the tuna! (He uses vegan mayo, sriracha, a few drops of sesame oil, shredded carrot, and anything else on hand that might work well.)
