Sumatra Second Run

Continuously tossing coffee grounds seemed super wasteful.  Sometimes we save them for a neighbor's compost, but since they color the water when making coffee, I figured I might be able to get some pretty colors out of running them through the coffee maker again for some yarn! 12 skeins were dyed on a few different bases for this batch. It created a very light, golden yellow. ***This is hand-dyed yarn and as such no skein will be exactly the same***   About the Yarn Bases: Fingering SW Merino/Stellina:  Fingering (1) weight 95% Superwash Merino, 5% Stellina (polyamide) 400 yds / 100 g Single ply Hand-wash gently in cold water & lay flat to dry DK Chainette SW Merino:  DK (3) weight 100% Superwash Merino 273 yds / 100 g Chain construction Hand-wash gently in cold water & lay flat to dry DK SW Merino/Silk:  DK (3) weight 70% Superwash Merino, 30% silk 231 yds / 100 g 4 ply Hand-wash gently in cold water & lay flat to dry Aran SW Merino:  Aran (4) weight 100% Superwash
