Opening up from round flower buds with pink tips, the blooms are produced over a fairly long period in early season (October - January in the northern hemisphere; March - June in the southern hemisphere), in such profusion (over 150 blossoms per bush!) that this splendid camellia always creates a breathtaking sight when in full bloom.
