Overview The AXW-AVT audio/video transmitter for the AX Series security system works with the Aiphone AWX-AVR receiver (sold separately) to condition the series' signal to enable use of Ethernet. fiber optics. and other third-party transmission equipment. External video input/output allows use of third-party camera and recording devices. The transmitter has a sensor input to connect an activation device such as a motion sensor (sold separately) to the AX Series system in order to remotely activate a door or camera. The relay output activates a connected external device such as a DVR (sold separately) when the system is actively transmitting audio and/or video signals.
