This is a beautiful 1959 red S Singer 222K Featherweight that runs quietly and sews a nice stitch. Mechanically and cosmetically this is a wonderful 222 machine. A 222K to be proud of. The decals are complete and are a deep golden color. The serial number is EP759809 which dates the 222K to December 18, 1959. The black finish is bright and shiny. There are some expected usage marks but no deep scratches or chips. The machine runs well, sews well, the light works, the bobbin winder works, the foot control has a range of speed. Everything works as it should. There are no missing or broken parts, no oily, brown cigarette smoke residue or other grunge to try to remove, no expensive repairs to be done, no surprises and no frustration.
