When the patent for the Singer 20 toy sewing machine ran out many sewing companies produced their version of the Singer 20. One of the copied versions was the Grain MK1, a very well built miniature sewing machine that rivals the Singer 20 for quality. The Grain MK1 was made and sold in the UK in the 1950’s and was actually marketed as a machine for adult use.  They all came with a large wooden base. This hunter green crinkled paint finished machine comes with its carrying case.  The latch on the case does work with a little help.
