Hybrid-Medication Aide Program
Medication Aide prepares certified nursing assistants (CNA's) for administering daily medication to patients in a Long-Term Care Facility or Assisted Living Facility. Also referred to as Medical Aide Technicians, their duties include monitoring patients, reporting changes, and collecting samples. Our 12-week course* provides the student with skills and training in order to succeed. This course contains an asynchronous mode lecture discussion and practical instruction. Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to receive credentials as a state Certified Medication Aide.
