F-4J Phantom II, VF-84 Jolly Rogers - Academy 12305 The F-4J was the last variant developed for the US Navy and US Marines. It refined the earlier B model with an enhanced avionics suite and a more powerful radar. With 522 J models built between 1966 and 1972, this version of the Phantom was the primary air superiority fighter of the US Navy until the F-14 Tomcat ultimately replaced it. This kit includes over 325 parts for assembling the F-4J Phantom II aircraft in 1/48 scale. The completed model is 368mm long and 104mm tall.
