The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French, single-engine fighter-attack aircraft with delta wings in a low wing configuration. On December 18, 1975, the French government supported the launch of the new Dassault Mirage 2000 program, an aircraft as small as possible and with a 1: 1 weight-to-thrust ratio, using the SNECMA M53-3 engine. Mirage 2000 reverts to the triangular wing concept. Thanks to the fly-by-wire control and the location of the center of gravity far back, the plane was very maneuverable.
