Brass hilt with baluster knuckle bow and radial pattern pommel. Good one piece diced ebony grip (crack). 27” slightly curved blade of heavy wedge section shows gray patina, some isolated pitting and surface marks from use. Dating to the period of the peasant revolts against the privatization and their exclusion from the lands on which they farmed, all of which were repressed by the Sardinian military.
