This is an early covered serving dish made by the Saxon China Company in Sebring, Ohio. The dish is edged with simple, navy blue lines and a more ornate gold band which has a detailed leaf design. The dish is in good condition for its age, with some light wear on the painted trim, particularly on one of the handles. The dish measures 11 3/4" x 8" x 3.5". A beautiful, elegant piece.
