Yoga For Postpartum Self Care An easy way to ease back into exercise, mommy-and-me yoga can be a safe, fun and healthy practice for both of you Benefits of postpartum yoga for moms Get a little TLC for your body Meet new moms Bond with your new baby Stretch and strengthen the muscles that need the most TLC (core & pelvic floor) Combat postpartum depression and/or anxiety Benefits of baby yoga Develop motor and sensory skills, Digest more easily Sleep more soundly How is mommy-and-me yoga class structured? Lasting anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes, they often begin with breathwork plus some beginner-friendly pose sequences that involve holding your baby in your arms, affirmations, self reflection, & smiles. Baby does less than 10 minutes. How soon after birth can you start baby yoga? 6 weeks old, waiting until baby can hold up head without your help (usually around 3 months of age). *Get your doctors' okay. 1.Registration ends 15 minutes before class time. 2.You’ll receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link 15 minutes prior to class. 3.Join your instructor online, let’s heal together!
