This is scale is used but in good working condition. There is an internal battery pack but it does not come with the a/c power adapter to charge it. This scale can also run off of a 9 volt battery. This does have some scuffs and scratches on it from use. Nothing that effects the normal operation.  Some information from online: High performance digital portion control scale.
