This scope is an awesome dual purpose scope! It is super small and compact to where its a fantastic monocular at a 2x base magnification or throw it on a gun and it's a fantastic riflescope as well! You can use rechargeable CR123's or throw an extension on it and run the rechargeable 16650's. The lens cap doesn't currently snap shut but a new one is on it's way with the 16650 battery extension from bering optics.
