The May Basket window is based on a design by Frank Lloyd Wright for the May cover of Liberty Magazine in 1926-27 - an abstract geometric design of flowers, fruits, and ribbons in celebration of Spring. Wright was commissioned to design a series of cover designs for each month, but the editors thought the designs were too radical and were never printed.
