This metal backplate with Starfleet Logo and magnet secures the back of the Star Trek Bluetooth ComBadge (Original 50th Anniversary Version) to your shirt with a stronger neodymium magnet than what comes with the unit out of the box.*This backplate will also work with the newer 30th Anniversary Edition ComBadge however this backplate would need to be reversed for the magnet to attach to the Badge. The new versions already come with the stronger backplate magnets so this would only be needed if you lost the backplate. They also make excellent refrigerator magnets!
