Antique Child's Baby Victorian Button Up Red Shoes with Mouse
~"Nothing was stirring, not even a mouse"~ but this one not only stirred but found his way into a wonderful wee Victorian shoe! At least he has good taste! These great Child's button up high top shoes date to around the turn of the century and are blessed with a wonderful two toned color. The desirable deep pomegranate red on the sides is a neat accent to the once buttermilk kid leather color on the upper boot. This original buttermilk color has turned to a soft charcoal grey as only time can create. The tiny little original buttons match the pomegranate color on the shoe and have a little nail stud in the middle. One of these buttons is missing from the right shoe and three are missing from the left. Both are cloth lined and the right shoe has a manufacture mark but it is hard to make out. It looks like "GBy" or 9 and directly underneath it says "Service". The lining has Lilliputian stitching that looks very even. The bottom soles are leather and there are about fifteen tiny nails tha
