Antique Turn of the Century Grater Lollipop Handle Unique Punched Tin Star Design

I am just tickled pink to present this awesome unique grater to you today! This handmade, unique piece is so special because of the punched star design and the desirable lollipop handle as well. This grater is hard to resist even for me but I have to be good as I just purchased a hanging pie safe! Good grief! There are "make ~ do" graters being made recently to keep up the demand for these old pieces because they are not commonly found. This grater is guaranteed to be authentically old and dates to either the late 1800's or turn of the century. The wood handle was hand carved and you can see the detail in images 5 & 6. The wood color resembles a deep honey color with darker areas at the top and bottom in the front. The back, see images 2 & 3, reveal a great surface with plenty of wear lending inconsistent dark and light striations throughout.
