Basket with Homespun Hearts Lit Votive Delightful

This sweet gathering includes a lovely basket sporting a “God’s Eye” feature (joining of weavers to the upper side locations) along with five homespun hearts snuggled inside laid on aged burlap. An old tin heart mold and lit votive are also included and what a great presentation this unique gathering would make in your home. The basket has secrets to tell! Under the handle is a pretty apple green paint that reveals the original color chosen as referenced in images 16 & 17. It appears someone applied bittersweet paint on the outside as well as the inside which is a more recent addition but was not added to the handle. The gentle curve in the handle as shown is a great quirky attribute. Some of the tiny weavers are broken with minimal loss to report. The wood used to form the handle extends to the bottom and terminates in the middle joining it’s counterpart.
