Christmas Orchard Basket Primitive Snowman Holiday Greens Gathering ~Lights Up~

I just adore orchard baskets especially offered in the smaller sized version because of their versatility to be decorated in so many different ways… whether it be for the holidays or in the "Buttery" filled with root vegetables. In this case I decided to arrange this basket using a Christmas theme and even added wee lights that will bring magical enchantment to any room it is placed in. Excelsior was placed inside to gain height. Next greens, berries and pine cones were used to decorate the top opening. Of course my instincts told me to incorporate a handmade, primitive snowman that has been gently aged and looks right at home set among st the greens! He is just having a great old time! His black hat and red scarf will keep him warm as some of the snow tipped branches are an indication that yet another storm is fast approaching. Lastly, I weaved a tiny stand of lights in and out of the greens to add even more Christmas cheer! This strand will plug in conveniently to any electric recept
