The Nome King: A deep ferrous red polish that shifts to black in some lights, filled with secret crystalline sparkle and metallic flakes representing the many gems and minerals beneath the earth.  Inspiration: The Nome King is the central villain of multiple Oz books, as well as the Return to Oz film; he is a patriarchal, craven capitalist, in opposition to the feminist, benevolent utopia of Oz. This polish can be worn on its own in 2-3 coats, and looks best with a glossy top coat. It can also be layered over other polishes (we recommend silver, red or purple) for different effects.
